Machining and Tooling

In-house precision machining and tool and die operations help us single source most projects for our customers. We design, build and maintain tooling in-house, including line and progressive dies.

Machining

IMC specializes in production runs from prototypes to medium volume.  We can manage your machining needs using the most modern equipment:  CNC and Manual Machine tools.  IMC's internal capabilities include any secondary processes for your components, allowing us to be your single source provider.

Typical part sizes for machining weigh under 40 lbs.  Maximum dimensions for CNC turning are 12" in diameter and up to 18" long.

Tooling

IMC's Engineering and Tooling department supports the total manufacturing processes performed within our facility:

• Design and build weld fixtures
• Design and build check fixtures
• Design and build gauges
